National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) invites applications for the vacancy of project assistant. A candidate having bachelor degree in any stream with minimum 5 years experience of project handling in any similar Govt department/ministry. The candidate also having a proficiency in MS office and the internet. The post will be purely on a contractual basis.
About organisation
National Institute of Ayurveda, deemed to be University is an autonomous Institute that comes under the of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. On November 13, 2020, the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, conferred to NIA the Deemed to be University designation under the De novo category ( 5th Ayurveda Day). NIA offers academic programs at all levels at the moment, including undergraduate (BAMS), graduate (MD/MS in Ayurveda), post-doctoral (PhD in Ayurveda), and diploma programs (DAN&P). In addition, only NIA offers six interdisciplinary M.Sc. courses in the Ayurveda sector. Ayurveda-related certificate and short-term courses are also offered frequently by NIA. This institute offers a 260 bed NABH recognized hospital that provides the general population with top-notch OPD and IPD services.
Eligibility for the vacancy of project assistant
Applicant must have bachelor degree in any stream with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field. Persons having proficiency in MS office will be preferred.

Important points to consider
- The selected Project Assistant will be stationed at New Delhi and will work in the Ministry of AYUSH, AYUSH Bhawan, B-Block, GPO Complex, INA Colony, New Delhi under the control of Officers concerned of the Ministry of AYUSH.
- The Project Assistant shall be entitled to avail 12 days Leave in a calendar year. The reimbursement will be on pro-rata basis. Therefore, he shall not draw any remuneration in case of his absence beyond 12 days in a year.
